Senior Geochemist/Basin Modeller
We are developing a full-physics numerical model in collaboration with Kinedyn Solutions to simulate the migration and trapping of Natura H2 (and associated gases) in sedimentary basins.
Dedicated property model and graphs to assist in the databasing and interpretation of geochemistry data for the exploration of Natural H2 and associate gases (e.g. H2, He, Ne, CH4, CO2).
Natural H2 (white, gold, native or geological) is formed by natural processes, without the input of energy or water, and there are widespread evidences for its occurrence, and for the migration and (possibly) trapping in Sedimentary Basins.
Hydrogen (H2) and hydrogen-related fuels are regarded as one of the pillars of a decarbonized economy, with a predicted 5/10-fold increase in the next 50 years. Natural H2 is both an unexpensive and clean form of energy.
Geological/process-oriented modelling of Natural H2 and associated gases in sedimentary basins using state-of-the-art numerical solutions. Integration of research and observations.
Dedicated property model and graphs to assist in the databasing and interpretation of geochemistry data for the exploration of Natural H2 and associate gases (e.g. H2, He, Ne, CH4, CO2).
Box-size and basin-scale models, for process-testing and assist in exploration. We are also seeking for partners for our JIP.
Collaborations with the academia, industry and governmental organizations. integrating knowledge and data for the development of the numerical migration/trapping models and the databasing-interpretation property model.
